Bought backup and dash cam w nightvision memory card... wifi etc $300 .no memory card. No motion detection recording. No recording. No backup cam. I received the battery filled cam and solar panel but wifi cuts out while it's on metal.bumper, no night vision, and the head unit had no battery. 100% non functional.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND A DIME WITH AUDIOVOX. THE OVERHEAD DVD PLAYER WORKED FOR 4 MONTHS THEN DIED. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE. RUDE WOMAN, THEY DON'T EVEN TRY TO ASSIST YOU THROUGH TECHNICAL SUPPORT. THEY KNOW THAT THEY MAKE JUNK AND KNOW THAT THERE'S NO POINT IN TRYING TO HELP ME FIX IT MYSELF. THEY WANT ME TO SEND THEM $150 TO "REPAIR" THIS PIECE OF JUNK. A NEW ONE COSTS $215. I THINK I'LL PAY A LITTLE MORE AND BUY ALPINE. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM AUDIOVOX!! UNLESS OF COURSE YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT ONLY WORKS FOR A FEW MONTHS AND *** IN THE CEILING OF YOUR VEHICLE WHEN IT DIES.

bought new, shipped with problems, installed myself, told would be no cost to ship and service, now they want over $130 I guess I should have took it out right after i installed, i called and they said it was broke, i could not believe it, because it was new. I have been finding things bought over the net can be junki. my friend warned me audiovox was junk Thank you for reading, i don't know what else to say they want more words to complete 100 words, seems like there are more than 100 words here weird format

Horrible Product and Customer Service

Just want to warn people about Audiovox Electronics. They have horrible products and customer service. I bought the ipod/cd unit from Target, and I shipped it away for repair, and I got it back broken. What Kind of service is that, that someone has to pay for it to get fixed, wait two months for it to return, and something else breaks on the unit. Don't waste your money. They won't give you a refund or send you a new one! It's a no-win situation. Be prepared to lose money! I left messages for two managers, and no one has responded to them! Audiovox is the worst!

Audiovox portable dvd player

I have also had bad luck with audiovox model numberD1917. They do not stand behind their warrenties. I bought one in oct.2007 it only worked for 7 months. They refused to fix it without a charge to me. Well guess what it can go to the trash before I pay to fix it. I will never buy anything else with audiovox on it. I talked to the people directly at Audiovox and the refused to hear me out. The first thing they said was the product only had a 90 day warrenty, but I bought the product thru my Dell account and they said it had a one year warrenty.

The DRC8335 VCR/DVD recorder is the biggest piece of junk on the market for DVD recorders. I bought it at the height of Christmas season at Walmart and it has been replaced three times alreday. RCA wants nothing to do with it. If they do this poorly with this top-end electronic, I wonder what else will fall apart? RCA flat screens junk?! RCA car stereo junk?! RCA telephones junk?! Where will it end? If we all just stand up and stop buying RCA and Audiovox components then maybe we can turn the quality around. Either way avoid them for 2008.

AUDIOVOX portable DVD Players *** and don't stand behind product!

I bought Audiovox portable DVD player and paid $250.00 for it a couple years ago. The video portion just stopped playing. It was 13 months old (of course, 1 month after warranty expired) so I looked at a new one, same model was only $85 so I bought another since I already had the headphones, case, charger, etc. Same exact thing happened on the second one - video just stopped working, sound only, in about the same time period. Don't purchase this brand. I understand it was out of warranty,but I told them what happened with buying TWO of their models and asked if they would give me a deal since I had two that needed repairs. NO! They said it was $79.95 a piece to repair them, no deals, no multiple repair discounts, no loyalty discount, no shipping discount...you get the idea. Not even a discount because they felt bad that the exact same flaw happened in BOTH devices. Guess how much a brand new, different brand, larger portable DVD player is now? $80 including shipping. Think I had the others repaired or went and bought another brand with my $80?

AudioVox and their *** DVD player...

Wow... Used the AudioVox Dual 7" Screen Mobile DVD system for a couple long driving trips. I got the dual so all the kids could watch the movie. The silly thing was manufactured April 2006 and here we are about 2 years later (not quite) and the power keeps shorting on the main unit. I have used this thing about 4 times for very long trips and it is dead already!!!! This is terrible and this will be the last AudioVox product I purchase. Consumer electronics are in an absolutely terrible state. If you expect us to buy your products you might want to consider making a half decent product!!
